The town Ústí nad Orlicí aims to foster free-time activities, sports, exercise and creativity in children since a very young age. The supported leisure activities include, among others, a functioning mothers’ and family centre, a low-threshold centre and a number of children’s playgrounds not only in the town centre, but also on the outskirts.
Schoolchildren and teenagers can work on their skills in various courses offered by the Children and Youth Centre and the elementary school of arts. Both of these contributory organizations have good conditions for their work and modern facilities at their disposal.
